LAURA
CURRAN is a renaissance artist who, during her long
career, has explored a breadth of media from stained glass to painting
and printmaking to fiber arts to jewelry making. She
studied art at Smith College as an Ada Comstock Scholar
and graduated from UMASS in 1994. She has exhibited
her work in the American Craft Council shows, the Berkshire
Museum and The White House. She was awarded Best in Show from the Wadsworth Atheneaum Museum in Hartford.
Her current work continues her exploration of surface
design techniques in both fibers and polymer clay. She
has been teaching for over 20 years and Laura returns,
once again, to Snow Farm to the great delight of her
many fans!
