Frank Edge studied ceramics and worked as a studio potter in Dublin, Ireland prior to immigration to the USA in 1982. He founded and continues to operate a storefront studio (MUGI) in Manhattan, New York. In recent years, Frank has continued teaching workshops for children and adults, wholesaling functional ware, and retailing through craft shows.
