Beth Beede is internationally known as a pioneer and teacher of feltmaking as a modern art form. She has traveled world-wide researching ancient techniques of feltmaking in primitive cultures (most recently in Mongolia). Her exceptionally beautiful pieces have been shown and commissioned far and wide, including the nearby Hartford Athenaeum.
