NANCY MOORE BESS maintains a studio in Amherst, MA. She teaches basketmaking throughout the Northeast and beyond. Nancy's research in basketry in Japan has resulted in numerous lectures and articles on this subject and has published a book on bamboo. She has also lectured in Japan on contemporary American basketry; exhibited throughout the U.S. and has been published in periodicals and books. Nancy's stunning baskets are in many private and public collections.
