Mary Lawler is a graduate of The New England School of Art & Design, Boston. She currently lives and paints in her studio in the historic college town of South Hadley, Massachusetts.

For 25 years, Lawler has successfully combined her knowledge and love of contemporary and traditional hand lettered forms with her skill as a graphic designer for non-traditional books, commercial applications, broadsides, decorative arts, and commissions.
